Pink's Pink Compared to Prince's Purple From the recent Rolling Stone with Cameron Diaz on the cover:
"Pink has pulled off one of the most radical R&B to rock transformations since Prince abandoned disco for a Dirty Mind twenty years ago." Let the mudslinging commence. Oh, & while you're at it, visit http://www.rollingstone.com and vote to put Natalie Portman on the next cover. Help a brother out.

This is true. I like Pink's new albun, and I don't have her first one, but I will probably get it someday.
Why does it have to be considered a transformation? Why do artists have to be one-dimensional? Lots of us like a wide variety of music. Why is it sooooo bizare for people when an artist 'changes styles"? Maybe they are just showing you another side of themselves. I hate the media.
