I just finshed watching "The Dreamers", and found myself thinking 'I bet Prince would dig this'. I believe I've heard he's somewhat o a movie buff. What are some other flicks you think he would be/is into?

i'd think movies that'd make u think -- can't think of any recent ones except maybe something like Godsend and the idea of losing a child you loved, then having the chance to clone the child, giving birth to its clone, and then seeing what happens -- what are its ramifications and what's it all have to say about love & technological advances

I saw this movie months ago when it first came out in France. Its pretty good. But I tend to like all of Bertolucci's work.

But why is it that you think Prince would like it??? It seems kind of weird association to me. Is it the sexual confusion experimentation playfulness thing???

Barbarella inspired that whole Endorphinemachine/Exodus period stuff.

I read somewhere that a viewing of Caligula (sp?) inspired the Gett Off video.

He's a big fan of The Matrix movies.

I don't think it was any ONE thing, just little details herea nd there. But the song "Sister" did pop into my head more than once. I guess it being set in Paris ( a la Cherry Moon) was a factor. And I guess the sexual tension/ambiguity/freedom had something to do with it. Now mind you, I'm not talking 'bout today's Prince.
