please take this opportunity to make a ton of money and release the musicology concert on DVD for us. you could have it a 2 disc set if you really wanna get some cash flow going.. and include some of your highlights for this year

this is a huge year for you, and those of us that have devoted so much of our music listening lives to you and your band would love to have something to mark all of these events...

below, with the help of some friends here, we will include some of the things we would like to see from you....



heres just a few ideas from me....

* your favorite musicology concert that you did so far.... or, better yet, clips of all of them put together

* the fabulous HOF performance, and MAYBE a little bit on how you felt that day, anything you wanna say to all of us that have supported you ??

* how bout a little bit on PURPLE RAIN ??? what do you really think about that movie now that its 20 years later ???

* perhaps a sit down discussion from you and your band about this tour, any thoughts they wanna share ???


yeah, i guess this steps out of the norm for you a bit, but, we are dying to hear from you... what has the last 25+ years meant to YOU ? when you look back, what are you most proud of ?? and what are the things you will remember the most ??

this marking the 25th year, surely, at the 50th year mark, you will be too damn tired to get into all this and there is no other anniversary this big until you hit 50... so, how bout we do it now ????

i look at your work for many things, inspiration, happiness, hope, and pick-me-ups when i need them... it would be great to hear how YOU feel looking back

But these types of threads are really a waste of time. Firstly, this isn't his site, so that type of request won't get to him (best to post on the NPGMC). Secondly, they are posted like Prince hops on here and reads these. Thirdly, asking Prince to do ANYTHING for fans is folly. We all know that he does what he wants and when he wants.

YES we ALL wish the same and more But if Prince took requests, there would be a conduit for it.
