The Album Survivor 2004 Edition # 20 Closed a bitter struggle erupted between Come, 0(+> and Musicology to decide who'd be kicked off the island... lots of weapons where used and when the dust cleared it was certain that 0(+> was no more with us... it was shattered all over the island, never to be seen again...

Happy voting!! Rules: This page contains a list with album titles, U vote the album u like least off the list!! Only one album may be voted off per thread! The thread will be active for 2 days until i start counting the votes! Then a new thread will appear with the new list !! After a few weeks we will have a new? undisputed best Prince album!! Some Explanations: I didn't include e.p.s like The Beautiful Experience or C-Note... I have listed The Truth as a seperate album, cuz it deserves to be recognized as such! I have not listed Gold Nigga & Exodus cuz those are NPG albums, however I did list New Power Soul cuz it's a P album in disguise The reason I didn't include Madhouse, because they were not really P albums...They belong on a side project list. The reason for not including the very best of is simple... we already have the Hits the B-sides on it... and 2 hits packages was just too much... The reason for not including Girl 6, sorry just 4got it... You may NOT vote more than once!!! COME Some great individual tracks, but it does not work as an album. Prince even admitted to dumbing down the album so as not to give WB better tracks.

Well it looks like its going to be either COME or MUSICOLOGY going this round. Since I love both of those , I guess my vote will be mute but I hope it gets people going for next round...
My vote : THE RAINBOW CHILDREN No way this should be around this long and we cant let it crack the top 10. While I respect P and his religious beleifs , I dont like to be preached to on an entire album..some great tracks on this album that I love to listen to one or two songs at a time , but I can not make it thought this whole album in one sitting. Sorry...I know its well loved here, just not my cup of tea. | |
