Road, House, Garden Road, House, Garden or Roadhouse Garden....???
Can anyone tell me if this title has ever been confimed by Prince or either his site? Whenever I hear the song I just have this faint impression he sings the lyrics as I have posted in the title.... In the song he sings Road, then Wendy & Lisa sing Road back to him. Then he sings House, which again is repeated by Wendy & Lisa. Then they sing the word garden together. Does this imply they are 3 seperate words or just free way of arranging the vocals? I remember there was talk of Wendy & Lisa doing some production work on Prince material and that they were refering to call it Roadhouse Garden. Was this title then suggested by Prince or by his overzealous fans? Just curious, as many mistakes have been made over the years; Semi-A-Colia, A Better Place 2 Die or Fill U Up as examples... | |
