it seems people are trying to sell it as the best , so was it an average show or worth going out of your way to get ahold of?

i went to both the jerzee show and the sunday philly show; while the philly was great it wasn't as good as the jerzee show. here's my rundown:

>prince didnt do his playas spoken word in his acoustic set
>the band seemed a little tired
>crowd energy wasnt as good
>no time opening act
>prince's led zepplin guitar solo was a little short and not as breath taking
>only one encore as compared to 3 in jerzee which were beatiful ones, adore and purple rain

Depends on which show you're refering to...

Heard Sunday was pretty good.
Monday (firsthand) was fantastic.
Tuesday (firsthand) was poor.

My take

I was at the Monday, Aug. 23 Philly show and it was incredible. Jill Scott opened and the crowd was through the roof all night, if that helps.

I went to all the NY, NJ and Philly shows and I thought that the NY shows were the best by far.

sunday's philly show was CRAZY... my section were on their feet the whole time... prince was being funny and cute... great show

I was at Sunday and Tuesday shows. Sunday was the better of the two nights. I hear Monday was the best show in Philly. He musty have been alittle off his game on Tuesday cause he dropped the mic during "I Would Die 4 U"

I was at the Sunday show - the mother fuckin' bomb. My section was jammin the WHOLE time!
He didn't though, have an opening act - just pure Prince.

I was also at Tuesday's show - Sunday's was a little better depsite. The Time opened and got the crowd going, but they weren't as enthuiastic as Sunday's . Tuesday laso had Patti LaBelle as a guest onstage with him.

I didn't know he had 3 encores in Jersey! That sucks! We only got one each night.
