On an episode of "the Robinsons" in the early 80's, Bill Cosby's little daughter Rudy's just hearing and singing "do it all night".

The Robinsons? I know Cos had a daughter Rudy on the Cosby Show, but I've not heard of the Robinsons. And speaking of the Cosby Show, I remember Vannessa wearing P's SOTT denim jacket on an episode. Plus, I was flipping the other day and caught "Jerk Out" on MacGyver. Also, on 227 back in the day the kids were going to Prince show. I believe it was Lovesexy.

The "Huxtables" were renamed the "Robinsons" when the Cosby Show played overseas in Italy. I'm a TV geek, so I know this stuff.

Don't forget SNL and Dave Chappelle show skits.

The only one I remember from the 80's is the commercial for Fruity Pebbles.
Barney drives up on a purple motorcycle and a black jheri curl wig and takes
Fred's cereal. I think the music playing was When Doves Cry.

Dave Chappelle's skit with Prince playing basketball in heels is a classic. Chappelle really outdid himself with the hairdo and wardrobe. He also had a guy dressed up like Micki Free interesting enough.

It was about 2-3 months ago when I was watching "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" on I think ABC with Drew Carey as the host.

Anyways, it was one of those improv. songs that one stageperson has to sing to an audience member. This one woman got picked from the audience, and Wayne Brady had to sing her a song in the style of, and I quote from Drew Carey, "The artist formerly known as the Artist Formerly Known As Prince", as the audience laughed. So, the one gal on the piano played the organ as in the beginning of "Let's Go Crazy", and Wayne Brady was like, "Are you serious?". Then the other gal started playing the guitar part, and though I can't remember the words Wayne made up, he did a good job of keeping with the flow. Then after his chorus, he started prancing around the stage like James Brown, as Prince does, and was spinning and doing the splits. Then Wayne licked his fingers and pressed them to his nipples and started going "Oh" and moaning, then he started crawling on the floor with his legs dragging like Prince. The audience, as well as myself at home, were laughing hysterically.

Did anyone else catch this?

I'll be lame too cause I've never heard of it either?

"Degrassi" is a show on the Nickelodeon channel 'Noggin'. It's their attempt at a teen show, like My So-Called Life and so on. It's basically centered on a bunch of teens going through highschool.

it is the third generation of the show... when i was young there was "degrassi Jr. high" then when the kids got older it became "degrassi high" now it is the next generation of kids...
the sons and daughters of the characters i watched on the first two shows.

The character that you were refering to was Leroy. His real name was Gene Anthony Ray. His charcter and Debbie Allen were my favorite charactors. When I was first starting out in dancing, I used too fantasize about being on that show b/c it inspired me as a dancer.

Leroy inspired me too. I had some fantasies of my own about him.
