Prince's Eyes

I always thought they were dark brown, but I have seen a few pic lately and his eyes appear to be light brown/hazelish. I noticed it again while watching Purple Rain today. What color are they?

Whatever color they are, women really find them mesmerizing.

They're like two big perky vaginas.

Well if you look at all the old 1970's pictures of him- it looks like his eyes are naturally brown.
But I think he messed around with color contacts or something. It's hard to go from

That's possible, but I don't recall color contacts being around in 1983. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I wasn't around in 1983, so I'm not sure. But whether they or not they were, all I'm trying to say is that he does have naturally dark brown eyes and he has done something to make the color appear different on several occasions.

Well...Michael Jackson used color contacts for the wolf effect in Thriller and that was around the same time so who knows...
I'm gonna make you love me...

Prince has Hazel Eyes.
Different lighting and types of photography can make them appear lighter or darker,
greener or browner, but his actual eye color has never changed.

Really? Cool. I take back what I said about him having naturally dark brown eyes then.

You are right. I was a junior in high school in 1983. Janet Jackson is the same age as me. When she made the Control album (not sure of the year, but well after high school) she appeared on Ebony or Essence wearing gray contacts and they were not available in the US, only in France which is where Janet went after her marriage collapsed from Debarge. I know!

Maybe I never stared so hard at him before, but now, when I am looking at Prince on these magazine covers, I'm thinking, "His eyes are hazel?"

To me he looks like Badu on the Entertainment Weekly cover. I mean how the eyes are colored and the position of his head. He looks so demure and coquettish.

Color contacts have been around for many years in the entertainment industry. They were available in 83 but for a high price. All hard and semi-soft contacts had a tint to them of your natural eye color back then.

I don't think it has anything to do with lighting. I say this because my own eyes are the same. You can tell what kind of mood I'm in or how I'm feeling by the color of my eyes. They also change with the seasons. Sorta like cat's eyes.

Actually, I was thinking about this just the other day. Because I had always thought Prince's eyes were totally brown. But when I looked into his eyes the time he stood only a few inches away, i remember thinking...'his eyes are the same color as mine' which from a distance can look brown. I was surprised because a closer view reveals hues of green AND brown. He didn't look like he was wearing contacts and if he was I think his eyes would have appeared to be only one shade of color.

i always wondered that myself like at the end of the "U Got the Look" video and near the end of the "Alphabet St." video when they get close ups on his face i was trying to figure out what color they are. but as usual, if you're trying to figure out anything about Prince, you're bound to confuse yourself.

Yes I've noticed Prince's eye color since I became a fam. From a distance, even on tv shows, they look dark brown but catch them close up and you see that they are brownish green. Look at the Rave Unto the Year 2000 dvd on the interview part and they have a nice number of close ups on his eyes and you can see the color. On many tv shows he's been on I've noticed that when the camera is up close on him, you can tell that his eyes are brownish green. They are very beautiful.

I think the variance of color is natural 4 all people with hazel eyes. Hazel mixes & filters lots of colors... my mom's eyes change here & there... usually with the weather... like a wolf... smile Lucky bbeeeeotch batting eyes & Prince is lucky 2... those orbs he's got... u just have 2 stare @ em :p
