European Tour???

I was just texted the following link http://www.londoncallingmusic.com who are apparently selling package tickets to a Prince gig in Paris on 28th October, is this true??? I've just checked the pre-sale part of the NPG Music Club, and there's not a whisper there, anyone?

I just remember the Blenhiem Palace scam, so I'm weary!

That company has been advertising those tickets for ages, although they originally advertised a different venue. Who knows whether it is true or not? Certainly there is no official confirmation.

If Prince was coming to Europe, you would expect him to play at least a few places and with only a month to go, surely they would want it promoted so that the tickets sell out? I am very doubtful this will happen.

This is an old advertisment from 2002. Prince performed in Paris on 28 October 2002.

This may NOT be an old advert. it states that the venue he is playing holds 16,000 people. No way did he play in a venue this big during the ONA tour in 2002?!?!?

It's true he played in 2002 on the same date - but this is not an old advert. I've even emailed the company and they still maintain this concert is happening this year.

The website of The Bercy in Paris does not mention a Prince concert for the October schedule.

Seems this one is a waste of money.

No he did not. On Oct. 28, 2002 Prince played Le Zénith in Paris. That place holds about 6,000 people.

I know cuz I was there. headbang
