...one of them ones that gotta grow on ya!! when i first heard this song i hated it..like aside from the very beginning i thought the song was total shit compared to the original red house..ESPECIALLY since he changed a word (what the fuck he change sister to somebody for?!)....but now a coupla months later i looove it! especially the backround vocals..and that part where he screams maybe i might as well go back over yonda! those r MAJOR highlights... like i still think the original red house is light yrs better than purple house (especially the solo) but yea now i'm visitin the purple house every day!

loved it soon as I first heard it cool song but yeah the original has a rawness 2 it that Prince didnt reach.but saying that I dont think he was trying 2 prove he is better than jimmi and I think he did the song justice.Prince can play guitar alot better than this but I dont think he needed 2.
