Wow, I missed the last round because I was so upset over Emancipation being voted off. It makes me ill that Come has beaten Emancipation,Graffiti Bridge, and Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic. It's incomprehensible. Therefore, I vote for Come.

Okay, since nobody else seems to be voting with me I would like to withdraw my vote for 1999 and vote for The Gold Experience. I like it, but out of all those, it's the album I listen to/enjoy least.

Im sorry but this thread is going nowhere because the majority of the fans on this site are stuck in a 81-89 time warp!

The fact that most of the voters just vote off the more recent albums without thinking from all angles suggest that nothing prince does will ever surpass the above period! This thread is about the best prince albums! Voting off rainbow children before Come/Batman is simply ludicrous, in fact voting off most of his albums before these two is an outrage. I cant wait to see if Rainbow Children is voted off before Lovesexy as to me that will sum up this whole game as a waste of time.

I vote Batman, simply to keep "Musicology" alive along with some of his other recent albums which are simply better than some from the eighties!

Your presumptions about what other people are thinking is unfounded.

The fact is the 80s bulk of work is simply regarded by the majority of fans as better music, so it's no surprise to see most of it there.

If you consider TRC as a better record than Lovesexy, that's your opinion, but don't get sour grapes just because you're in the minority.

I do expect my favourite records to fall before some of the other pap (several of them already have - For You and Prince) - But I can see I'm in the minority in thinking these two records are far greater than Musicology - But what can you do, just play the game, or sit it out! biggrin
