Prince 90's Music or CRACK COCAINE?

OK, I personaly like most of his 90's output, thought i"m no fan of NewPowerSOul or Rave.

But it seems alot of you people absolutely loathe his 90's output compared to his 80's.

Would you be more or less dissapointed if Prince was sent to Prison between 1993 and 2000 for using crack cocaine, and unable to record any music at all until he was released? eek

I personally would take the music over no music--but again, I like most of his 90's output.

I think it was just prince wanting 2 change his style of music, tryying 2 get a name as an artist who was not just known as a great artist in the 80's but 90's 2!

over the past year or so, i've grown a whole new appreciation for prince's '90s stuff. i think it's fascinating, even some of the crappy stuff...not to mention "come" is one of my absolute top favorite prince albums. nod

I have as well. Just by hanging out here..I know I have put in Gold several times..and have found pockets of appreciation I didn't have before. I still havn't brought myself to NPS/chaos yet.

His output inthe 90's were good. Both Symbol and Come are some of his best. The War was excellent and well as the Truth.

I think the 90's were very mired in anger...and it showed.

and NO I do not wish he'd be in jail for CRACK...that's stupid.
