Reflection lyrics Is it just me, or does the first line sound like "Two servants together..." and not "Two sevens together..."? [Edited 9/21/04 3:04am] "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

It isn't just you. I SWORE it was 'servants' when the MP3 was first made available on the website last year, and I got quite a bit of resistance about it from the whole online community - including the moderators at NPGMC. It really irks me because the entire line makes more sense lyrically as 'servants' than 'sevens'. What the hell is 'two sevens together' supposed to mean? Most have claimed it references his signing with Warner Bros in 1977, but then what would 'like time indefinite' have to do with that?
I love the tune but I just don't get the lyrics.

I love the tune but I just don't get the lyrics. Jess, Jess, Jess...you're still on this "Servants" kick?? I do believe the "two sevens together" line is in reference to the WB signing, with the line "like time indefinite" refering to the potential of the relationship (w/WB) lasting an indefenite amout of time musicially. At least, that's what I believe... Anyway, fight the good fight maaaaannn!!!! Strike
