I love Parade, the whole album, but I still can't believe All My Dreams was left out.

IMO it's one of Prince's, or should I say The Revolution's(?), finest moments.

And what I don't get is the album is quite short so he could have easily stuck it on.

Ok maybe he felt it didn't fit into the movie or something so he left it off, if that's the case then it's a real shame coz the movie was rubbish anyway.

I realise Prince has many great songs that didn't make an album, but along with Electric Intercourse this is the one that bothers me most it's that good.

I have plenty of friends who are casual Prince fans but getting them to listen to his other stuff can be a real chore. So I guess what bothers me is that while everyone knows the likes of Kiss they're still really missing out.

This song is pure genius. I honestly think the haters are just too simple for this amazing track. It's so ahead of it's time, maybe someday the haters will get it.

I agree that All My Dreams is a genius song. I was blown away the first time I heard it and still love it just as much now. It's one of my most loved songs.

However I just dont think it's a song the casual Prince fan would "get" or appreciate.

It's absolute crap. It doesn't even sound like Prince. Let alone like anything on Parade. I must be too simple then.

I really hate that song. No offense. We all have different opinions.

They're like assholes, or so I've heard.

In All My Dreams is to date my favourite Prince song ever.

It's certainly one of the highlights of the man's recording career. I think it fits better on the Dream Factory, rather than Parade though, I can see why it wasn't included on the final release of that album.

THe song, how special in it's form, was best left off Parade. The song lacks the substance Parade had.

I am not hating it though. I love it. But it is too lackadaisical..

All My Dreams is so friggin' wonderful. His finest unreleased song to date.

Prince has written so many comlex and ingenius songs, and I think it's really sad these wonderful tracks haven't been released to this date or will probably never see the light of day. I feel sorry for the people who will never hear these songs.

All My Dreams is one of those songs. Just the way how it builds up, the choice of intruments, and the climax toward the end, when P and band sings "goodness will guide us if love is inside us. The colours are brighter, the bond is much tighter. No child bad in the beginning until the blue sailor sails him away from his dreams..." etc. It's not completely correct, but you know what I mean.

The outtake I like most for the moment is comparable to All My Dreams in terms of compexity and vibe: In A Large Room With No Light!!!!!

So yes, I'd say All My Dreams is a fantastic song!
