I dunno how many of you have actually seen prince live, but i suspect most. The problem i face being scottish is that it will take a while before the wee man decides to tour over my neck of the woods. Any people from uk here on the forum seen him live?, and indeed when do you think he will decide to come over here?. Finally are there any npg online members and if so, are the benefits of that site really worth the 20 bux you need to pay to join?, thanx .

1) I'm from the UK, yes, I've seen him live, about 7 times I think now, looking forward to when he comes back (which he always does, since Europe, and the UK, has always been a strong-hold for Prince every since the mid-80s).

When it happens, you'll hear it here, and NPGMC first

2) RE: NPGMC - $25 is what, £14, for a "lifetime membership", i.e. as long as the site is operational in it's current form.

For which you get access to the message boards and some dogmatic ruminations (laughable at best), access to occasional chats with band members, you get a discount on the Musicology store releases, and priority seating at the shows (plus whatever other benefits are currently being used at the live shows (in 2002 it was access to the Soundchecks).

Sounds good to me, it's worth it alone for the priority booking, and who knows when members-only downloads/extras will pop-up (like the original release of Xpectation and C-Note in 2003).
