They are hazel but they change colors. Way back in 1978 he did a quasi interview with Cynthia Horner of Right On! Magazine and she commented on his eyes being green. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Remember PurpleCharm we argued about this before. If you look closely you can see he does have some green in his eyes just like you hipped me about Tyra Banks having green eyes. I never noticed that until you pointed it out. | |

I sure do remember. Please forgive me. At that time, they always appeared dark brown, but thanks to the power of the internet, I get to see all kinds of close ups of The Purple One.
