Instead of givin it away so they could fuck it up, they made the average buyer think that Prince actually made those songs the way they sung them... (except for All Day All Nite which aint that bad).


He shouldve given away:

Loose (to some one off Hip Hop / House group)

Cinnamon Girl (especially to Lenny Kravitz)

Damn U (to Chaka)

The Sun, Moon & Stars ( i dont know D'Angelo or some1)

Man, when I heard that for the first time, I swooned because it had Prince written all over it ... and I was dying to her a rocker like this from him, then the countdown annoucer said it was Mazerati. Who? I said. Damn. Prince should have kept that song. It would be classic.

I know he would have had to switch some of the lyrics around a little, but really wish he would have kept "Nasty Girl" for himself. IMO, his funkiest song ever. I think "Nasty Boy" would have worked just fine. Imagine... "Tonight, I can be your fantasy? Your own little nasty toy." Works for me. But hey, Prince could have probably made the original lyrics work too. Whatever he would have said, that was one funky ass beat. Would have been a nice addition to the 1999 album.

Should have given " Dig U Better Dead" and " I Rock, Therefore I Am" to the Salvation Army or whoever else would take them

Why has nobody mentioned "Nothing compares 2 u" and "Baby .you're a trip" ???!!!!
