What was the last Prince record you bought... that completed your collection of his entire catalogue?
Mine was "Dirty Mind" which I didn't buy until 98... just didn't realize what they hype was all about before then. Since then, I've been pretty up to date, buying everything else as it has been released. Umm...The Rainbow Children and Parade.....on the same day TRC came out....Surprisingly I never owned the Parade CD until now.....I was STILL playin the Vinyl!!!!
Last Prince thing I bought was last week when I found the 12 inch to I WISH U HEAVEN and a promo Greatest Romance Ever Sold record... Every minute of last night is on my face today.... | |

The Rainbow Children.
Though, I bought the new tracked version of Lovesexy on CD recently (even though I've already got the untracked version & the vinyl already). Being able to jump to whichever track I want makes me much more inclined to listen to it now. | |

I've never seen a Tracked copy of Lovesexy. Is this an official release? I'm not saying it doesn't exist, just saying I don;t know about it. | |

Somebody was feelin generous and took my car in w/out my knowledge while I was in New Orleans to get it painted, and the lovely boys at the garage stole my entire Prince collection. MOTHER F@#$)(*@#)(CKERS! I been rebuilding ever since. Last one I REBOUGHT...I repeat...MOTHER F@#$*#@CKERS...was Chaos & Disorder...Peace! | |

The first (original) tracked Lovesexy CD was a US Promo that was released to DJ's shortly after the album's initial release. The German tracked version was officially released several years later. | |

Well, last one obviously would be "the rainbow children" but I don't think that's what U are referring 2.
Last actual cd of the back catalogue I bought was -believe it or not - 1999. I know, it's a crime. It's just that I got a copy of the album from a friend of mine and I'd been listening 2 that tape 4 so long that I kept putting off buying the actual album. But last year I finally got it, along with replacement copies 4 "Dirty Mind" & "Around The World In A Day". Now my Batman album is missing. The regular one. Still got the black circular box, but I want the regular release 2. Damn exes, the keep steeling my Prince albums right before I tell m 2 leave.....lol | |
