So when does P start getting his masters back?, i thought it was from 2000 onwards?.

Anyone any the wiser, i thought he got back 1 every year. Help get me clued up. Thanks.

I remember the topic being raised, wasn't it 30 years since recording?

So 2008 for For You, 2009 for Prince and so forth.

I'm only going by what was posted here, I have absolutely no idea if this is fact.

The answer: when WB decides to sell them to him. Record companies aren't contractually
obligated to give artists their masters. Prince has his publishing which
is adminstered by Universal.
