I have no idea how much it costs to start your own cable channel like Oprah did with Oxygen but with Prince always talking about how bad MTV is..just think Prince can show only real artists
instead of people like Jessica,Britney and 80 % of the other crap out there,,,plus it would be a great outlet to get his video's exposed and acts that he might want to put together...it'll probably never happen but its cool to think about

Piasley park was run like a harem rather then a leggit biz and he was sinkin money into it!! He was always shooting videos for songs which never saw the light of day!!

How can u compete with MTV there is no way he has the deep pockets required even if he wanted to!!

Knowing him i think with all the money he made this yr he will be wasting it on stupid projects!!

Actually, I thought of something similar to that this morning (I knew I should have posted it before someone else beat me to it. ) I was thinking he should use the NPGMC memberships, or profits from some musical project, tour, or merchandise to finance a NPG TV station. He could also make a deal with a cable provider, making this station only for NPGMC members (The members would have to pay for the service annually in addition to their membership, in order for him to keep it running.) He could use the station as an outlet for his own music and movies, and also promote the music of associated artists, band members, etc. When he is on the Grammys or whatever, the station would show it, and we would also get the first concert live whenever he kicks off a new tour. Hey, a girl can dream.
