i thort cinnamon girl was meant 2 b released on the 30th but cant find it in any music shops and on amazon it is 'discontinued' or summink. the same thing happened wiv musicology, what is going on why cant he jus release summink??

yeh prince ur like the greatest inspiration and everything respect 2 prince but when it cums 2 uk u suck,wheres the uk tour and wheres cinnamon girl...musicology single only came in2 stores like last week .cum on respect 2 the uk we aint that bad man

As for pulling the singles, well it's no great loss since you can get the songs on the album. It's only a loss if you're a fanatic collector of all things Prince and want something new to buy. You can (or will) be able to buy singles of Musicology and Cinnamon Girl as imports from countries where they have been released, so that sorts that problem.

If Prince releases a single and it does badly in the charts (as is likely these days without a huge amount of promotion - and there isn't even a video yet for Cinnamon Girl) it might actually create bad promotion, since if you don't reach number one these days you are deemed a failure. Sony might be aware that any single release in the UK right now would die a death and LOSE them money.

It's rubbish anyway
