Empty room video I'm really sure there is video form this, as there is a pix of it in the gallery :
but this is also i scene from my fav music video holy river, so i was a lil confused, so can any 1 tell me whats it's like please!!!! thanks keeno Keenmeister |

The video was done in '95, along with Zannalee and 18 & Over (there's a theme/loose story).

I remember watching this video before the 1995 Gold Experience started ( it was shown on a video screen )...it´s quite nice, with Mayte and Prince...I liked that gray, long stuff Prince was wearing in that video , very similar to that thing he was wearing in the Emancipation booklet.
And I think Mayte was wearing a top hat. Cool video, much much better than the I Hate U video ( which I find cheap and disappointing, considering the high quality of the song itself). I remember the scene with P bathing in his pants, using a sponge etc. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?" | |

I finally saw the video for this -- it's alright... It would've been better if he had done a video for this around the time he wrote the song. The video doesn't seem honest enough for me to buy into the intense emotions of the song. A bit too melancholy for someone who just had his heart smashed, torn, sheared, and shorn. He should have bags under his eyes from sobbing uncontrollably the whole night before. I know; I been there. Also, seemed awkward to have Mayte so prominent in a video that's really about another woman. Knowing that Prince eventually married Mayte makes it hard for me to accept her as an "angel" (or whatever she is) in this video. The clips did work a lot better in "The Holy River" video which was about Mayte (in part). | |

I saw the video last nite, thanks 2 a friends, and i really quite liked it, scene's cut from a few of his other video's but apart from that it was alrite! Keenmeister |

Yeah its a mediocore video, like 18 & Over & The Same December and Zannalee.

It was a cool video, but I would have rather had the version with the Revolution. Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council. | |
