Another reason why it won't work is because Pearl Jam has many more fans then Prince has at this point. Also, in case anyone has noticed the Pearl Jam experiment may not have worked very well because every music store I go into has loads of the concert cd's in the bargain big. I mean hundreds of copies. I doubt they even broke even on the experiment. Trust me if it had worked the industry would have taken notice and this would be the new norm.

I can't see the negative side for P. He doesn't have to print or produce any CD's before hand, that he'll get stuck with once we do not want them.

He only has to produce the amounts that are (pré)-ordered? Pearl Jam did it the OLD fashioned way.

In fact he doesn't have to produce any CD's. We can download the concerts can't we? What's his loss. He'll finally have a way to really satisfy the fams.

Surely he can understand that we're just waiting for him to give us what we want. I once heard Michael B say that P himself collects all the "live" Sly & the family stone tapes he can get his hands on.

If P gets a real kick out of hearing Sly do "higher" at woodstock (and let's be honest who doesn't, as a matter of fact I'm gonna play it right now smile. He'll understand that we get the same kick out of hearing him play "It's gonna be a beautiful night" at the '87 concerts. Especialy the one at Galgewaard in Utrecht Holland (the second one that is...).

I would buy one of each concert i've been to.

And would buy one of each legg of a tour, e.g. the american, european, japanese, australian, and so on.
I would also buy one of each section of a legg, like he's touring now with some days of rest/recapitulation between them, to feel the differences.

I would also buy those wich get outstanding reviews from fans, where they felt the magic. And I would certainly buy most of the aftershows, and what about the rehearsels ?

Damn, I would perhaps end up buying them all, that would mean I have to build a bigger house smile

OK - I admit I wouldnt be able to afford them either, so I'd probably try to buy as many as possible, at least 1 or 2 per Tour, perhaps of each country??
1 Japan, 1 UK & 1 USA ? ok that's 3, I know... I'd like to have all the Friday night jams at Paisley Park!!!

The AFTER PARTYs fo' sho - cuz that's where some of the BEST music is played - he jams there for US... it's NON-commercial & very RAW!!! I love that the best!

C'mon Prince.. we're waiting... winkheart

I would Probably buy most of them except duplicates if any.
If he would release the show on March 30th in Washington DC Everyone would buy that one, the man actually out did his self on that night, something I didn't think was humanly possible.

i'd buy them all!!!!! no doubt! in the mean time i settle w/ the bootlegers, but only the ones that have soundboard quality. it's a pitty cuz non of that money is going to him, but he calls the shots so he has to deal with the consequences... freedom is a beautiful thing for fans too!
