What is PRINCE going to do after the Musicology tour?

I think he's going to hole up in LA (yes, you heard me) and record a bold new album. Guest musicians will include Ibrahim Ferrer, Carlos Santana, Patty Griffin, Andre 3000, and David Garza.
Album will be released on Sony in late summer 2005. Also, he will work on a HUGE boxset with Warner spanning his entire career with CDs and concert DVDs. Also, he will be seen, making a film comeback of sorts, in the new Anthony Minghella.

I think he's going to start on his most ambitious project to date:

Yes, folks---
REMASTERING his entire back catalouge, taking out all the fowl language, and introducing trend setting rappers like Tony M., Doug E Fresh, and a host of musical influences like Larry Graham, Chaka Kahn, and the late Rick James.

A couple of changes will , naturally need to be made to song titles.

Such as:

HEAD - will now be called "Burka"
Sister - will now be called "Sister Act"
Sexuality - will now be called "Sensuality"
G-Spot - will now be called "G-Rated"
SuperFunkyCaliFragaSexy - will now be called "JehovaGotMeFreakinCrazy"
Darlin Nickie - will now be called "Uncle Larry"
Jack U Off - will now be called "U better love Jehova and give me back my Masters"

After waking up you still believe that?

I think he's going to get back to recording the music that interests me but bores the rest of his Prince fans to death, like NEWS and Xpectation, and I'm totally fine with that. smile

I gotta say, I would not look forward to that album, and I certainly don't think it'd be bold.

lol lol lol lol

Seriously, I just started a thread on NPGMC asking just this same question. I went to the Sacramento show Friday nite, Prince and the band are so T-I-G-H-T now, I can't believe they're just gonna stop after this tour (no further dates are scheduled, as of now). I hope they do an album or more touring or something, otherwise it seems like a waste for them to get so good then call it quits. neutral
