One of my many favorites is The One but everyone always talks about how they can't stand the New Power Soul album so I'm sure no one will agree with me.
So I guess we can agree to disagree cause The One is Prince's Best Slow Jam IMO!!!

I would have to agree with Adore--it is just simply beautiful all the way around. The Beautiful Ones always sounded like a competition/jealousy/me or him type of love song. Adore can be applied to any type of love. | |

Adore will ALWAYS be his best slow jam. I was listening to it the other day and it has aged very well. It seems P put his heart and soul into that song. You could really feel was he was singing. It definitely is not a song he wrote just to fill an album. It sounds like he really meant what he was saying(whoever it was written about at that time) | |

Man alive do I love this song!!!!! "DARLINGGGG...It appears to meeee that U could uuuuse a date 2 night"....I always thought of this as kind of a sequel to 'Do Me Baby'. He's had so many amazingly beautiful ballads.....Beautiful Ones, When Were Dancing Close & Slow, Call My Name, Man O War...but the ultimate Prince ballad is...like many have agreed here....
