Seeing the trailer again on the DVD, I still got that great feeling when I remember seeing it the first time. And seeing Cherry Moon trailer again, what happened to that other love scene? And the scene with those horses breaking free?

Nope.....Safe to say, I knew it wouldn't be worth my moms money, but I dragged her to see it anyway.

Actually, the PR SE dvd was the first I saw of the GB trailer, and...

thinkin...i used to have the trailer on this old video i had, and i remember thinkin "man--they make the movie look like it's actually great!" whoever did that shit, they some manipulative bastids...

Yes, the trailer was brilliant...but what got me even more hyped up was the glowing review I read that morning in the NY Times!
The critic said Prince had perfectly updated the movie musical, or something like that.
About eight hours later, I walked out of the theatre with my best friend, our heads hanging in disbelief at the cinematic train wreck we had just witnessed.
What was that Times critic smokin?....
