can anyone clear up what "and god created woman" is fully about? i got my ideas but not truly sure,?....love me to the 9's a definite winner!!!

Any album that contains "Sexy MF","Love 2 The 9s","Blue Light","The Continental","Damn U","7","And God Created Woman" has to be considered a classic.Those are all top-notch songs.

I love this album!!! It would be better without any input from Tony M., however it is ten times better than his presence all over D&P. contains some of my all-time Prince jams including; And God Created Woman, 7, Sexy MF, Sweet Baby, Damn U, The Morning Papers and Love 2 the 9s.

To the nines, the continental, blue light, awww yes, I am a fan of the symbol cd!

Scrapes in at about number 5 for me. The segues took the shine off, and it was a little too long. Drop the segues, Arrogance, the Flow and Sacrifice Of Victor, and it would be in even stronger.

I love that CD! Who's messing with "And God Created Woman"? NO ONE!!!

I love that Cd...it has some great compositions (Damn U, And God created Woman, Morning Papers, Sexy MF), some amazing band work arrangements....
The bad part is that Tony M has too much input. And there are some real bad songs that break the atmosphere sometimes (I wanna melt with U, Continental). The many segues are annoying also.
But overall, it´s great.

Yep, I love this cd too. I'm not sure if it's in my top 5 Prince cd's, but I do like it a lot.

I'd look at this question and say, which albums do I consider better?

It may be better overall than, say, Prince, Graffiti Bridge, D&P, C&D ATWIAD, Batman, Emancipation, For You, Rave, etc. But an argument can be made for any of those albums above . So I guess I don't agree with you, but "greatness" is in the eye of the particular orger.

I think its in my top 10 - has got 5-6 really good numbers!

was my first Prince album.

It is not in my Top 5, let alone my favourite.

I do hold a place for it in my heart as a Prince fan, it's a great record, but no it's far from my favourite.
