well in my dvd(not the special edition one, havent gotten it yet) it says God (Love Theme from Purple Rain) and seeing as i havent heard God before im assuming thats the name of that piece?

You can find it on the 12" B-side of "Purple Rain," the UK version. I was lucky to find it at Tower records on Sunset in 1985. I have never seen it since.
The catalog number is W9174W "Purple Rain" (Album Version) "God" (Vocal Version) "God" (Instrumental Version) 7:45 min. Includes poster and sticker. The guitar solo is amazing! You don't get to hear it in the film. Good luck if you can find it. I wonder if it's worth something now? | |
