So,he's saying if I was your vagina would remember me.

And almost all women find it hard to forget about their vaginas.

I love this song, and it's so cool how he compares himself to being a girlfriend.

Also, I like how TLC's version of this song sounds because I think T-Boz's voice sounds great on a Prince track, but their version completely changed the interpretation, which is okay. It's such a great song!

and don't forget the track is sung by Camille - at the time (1987) presented as his androgyne alter-ego... in that state for two persons to be really close sexe doesn't matter.
