It's just that I keep hearing about this person and her ongoing animosity towards our hero. And I'd like to know who she is and why in the world she would hate someone like Prince. But yeah, I know, how can I call myself a hardcore Prince fan if I don't know about that situation.

Believe it or not, there are some Prince fans here that are totally oblivous as to who this beeeeyach is and why she hates Prince.

As far as I know, she's some Minneapolis reporter who, for some reason, just ain't showing the purple one no love. Sure, there might've been some things that he's done in his career or personal life that have not been perfect or pleasant, but the man is only human. I mean, in life you'll get criticized for anything you do or say.

So, who is this notorious CJ?

C.J. (Cheryl Johnson) is a gossip columnist who writes for the Minneapolis Star Tribute,if im not mistaken.For many years,she has printed many,many nasty stories,hurtful rumors and vicious gossip about Prince.Some examples...


***When he changed his name in 1993,she immediately started referring to him as "Symbolina" (a name that she still uses to this day!)

***She once accused Prince of "lying on Oprah",in regards to his baby's death.She has made other tasteless comments about this sensitive,tragic situation.


Things got so bad that,in the early 90s,Prince wrote a song about her called "Billy Jack Bitch".If you read the lyrics,you will see exactly how Prince feels about her.


I honestly don't know who's worse...CJ or that New York gossip-spreading bitch Wendy Williams.Both of these ladies can be quite brutal when discussing celebrities (although I don't think Wendy has a grudge against Prince).One good thing about CJ is that she at least inspired Prince to compose one of his funkiest jams ever,lol.
