Best Prince Moments It's so easy to just poke fun at Prince's faults from the past and present. It seems like Prince fans just wanna pay attention to the bad things Prince has done in his career and his life. But what about those great moments that are the reason why you love Prince. Like:
-----The I Would Die 4 U/Baby I'm a Star video. -----The Dirty Mind album. -----The Sexy Dancer remix. -----The Kiss video. What else, bitches? NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE. | |

Dark Night Yes add to that Soul Train and American Bandstand way Back and Midnight Special and Oprah and Ellen and all these recent shows and I Love when he was TORA,TORA,TORA cause it was so crazy and Letterman and Leno appearances and all those TODAY Show Appearances. Being a Prince fan since I was 12 and just Lovin the Man through all the Wild Rides and Saying Fuck U to Any Naysayers who diss him... | |

Soul Train was great except for the fact that he was forced to lipsync. Bandstand was uncomfortable but still cool. Oprah had its moments but was also uncomfortable at times. Letterman was short and sweet. Leno kina reintroduced everyone to him. That was surprisingly cool. (Insert something clever here) | |

Mind you, I'm not just limting this to television appearances. It could be songs, live shows, artwork, bitches he boned, musicians he fired, etc. Just anything that makes him cool. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE. | |

I loved his 1995 appearance during the "We are the world" tribute. He got up on stage with the other stars but didn't sing. When Quincy Jones handed him the Mic, he took his lolipop out of his mouth and handed it to Quincy.
Very funny | |

The interview on MTV right after the making of the "America" video. (Was that some "staged" shit or what?) Prince's peformance at Flippers roller rink in L.A. (Dirty Mind Tour) March 31, 1981. INCREDIBLE! Opening for the Rolling Stones and getting shit thrown at him and booed off stage. UTCM The SOTT Movie May 1983 - Performance of Little Red Corvette and 1999 on US TV's "Solid Gold." | |

The performance of Housequake on the 'sign o the times' video.
The 'dirty mind' lp. The dance move he does at the end of the 'when doves cry' promo'. The guitar solo during 'while my guitar gently weeps' at the HOF. His performance of Purple Rain at the AMA's in '85. The success of Musicology. God, he has given us so much... thankyou Prince! "London, i've adopted a name that has no pronounciation.... is that cool with you?"
"YEAH!!!" "Yeah, well then fuck those other fools!" | |

I'm stil embarassed, and its been, what?, about 16-17years now. But the song is still hot... Nevermind the fact that it is probably the only song on UTCM that I skip... "..Just close your eyes and count to 10...and when U open 'em I'll B standing naked with nuthin' but a SMILE on.." | |

His performance of "The Everlasting Now" on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. When, at the end of the song, Jay comes out and does the "I'm not worthy!" bow, and Prince does the hand wave at him like "Aw, gee - come on". Great stuff. | |
