Mountains seems very popular on the org.
For me however it's Anotherlover !!! Have always loved this track more.

Which do you prefer ???

Anotherloverholeinyohead is THE best track on that album. Period.

Mountains is the best

I love them both but Mountains gets my vote.

Anotherlover 12inch is funky as hell. I'll go for that. i like Mountains too though.

Awww, this is a TOUGH one! I heard Mountains way before I heard Anotherlover... and it has always been a definite favorite. When I did hear Anotherlover.. I was floored. That mess is fonky. If I had to choose I would have to go with that one. Both are some incredible pieces of work though.

i love the parade album.....

and Mountains kicks ass.

I remember when the Parade album first came out. Whilst reading the tracklist I found myself puzzling over what I deemed to be some very un-Princelike titles for songs. To me "Mountains" was just the oddest choice for a title (another one of a string of moments when I felt myself being alienated by Prince!)

This song title took me a long time to digest. The same applied to "Starfish And Coffee"

I see what you mean by hard, the extended version of "Mountains" is a million times better than the Anotherlover remix... not that the remix is shabby by any means.

But no track can truly compete against the extended version of "Mountains".

Don't ask me this, this must be one of the toughest choices between any two Prince songs. But I'll have to agree with Giotto and Mrdespues: the extended version of Mountains is probably my favorite 12"...

It is impossible to chose between these two songs.They are absolute favorites of mine.

Anotherlover. I like Mountains, but I think I overplayed it and it got boring. But it's still a great song.
