Here is the update: Well my work was giving away I kid you not about 100 FREE Prince tickets, and I wasn't able to get one. But the people who were giving me a hard time about going to 2 shows got the free tickets. keep in mind these were people who said they would go if you paid them or even if they got free tickets.

Well did they get the shock of their lives!! Only to find out today they had no idea how talented Prince is, how great he sounded and looked and whatan amazing show he puts on.

Fellow orgers, we now have "new" Prince fans and now see what I have been telling them all along....which is "he is the man"!!!!!

Ahhh yes...the old change their minds maneuver...sweet...victory..

yeah i brought a friend with me to see him last month (holy shit its been a month...well...tomorow it will be ) she had listened 2 him before but i dont think she realized how awesome and amazingly genius he was..especially when he did his acoustic set, her thoughts on him changed then fo sho

This is exactly what happened with my brother when I conned him into going to Xenophobia for 7 nights. He is now a fan and never gave me my t-shirt back I made him wear one night. Hehated Prince...called him a little fag the whole bit always giving my shit. He was sooo impressed with him and his talent. As well as John Blackwell being a drummer himself. He begged to go with me to the 2 shows I went to this summer but only 2 tics for club seats oh well told him to join.

The best comment about Prince was attributed to Eric Leeds in Down Beat magazine years ago. To paraphrase --
