When Doves Cry video - hidden face Sorry if this is super-obvious, but I guess I'd just never looked that closely. Anyway, I noticed for the first time today the face in the steam singing at the beginning as P gets out of the bath.
What's the deal with that? Am I the last person in the universe to see it? Are there already 50 threads I never opened on this? "We've never been able to pull off a funk number"

Yep, it's there...I noticed it kinda late too, just last year...
It also appears, even more subtlely, when he's crawling on the floor, just after the steam part. Makes ya wonder what else we've missed...  Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I'm sorry, I had to laugh at this one. I always thought this was pretty obvious, I mean... once the image of Prince freezes at that point, you can see the movement of his face singing the song. I noticed this in '84 when the video was played a hundred times a day on everything from MTV, BET, Friday Night Videos, etc. Sorry for laughing, but it struck me funny. Lovesexy Funkateer | |
