I was sorting through some old boxes over the weekend and found a catalogue for the NPG store On West Lake Street. Inside they have the cloud guitar priced at $5,000, surely this can't be the schecter copy they now sell at the club? The picture in the mag has the longer fin on the neck like the ones P uses and not the shorter one of the schecter, does anybody have any info on this or did any of you actually cough up the 5,000 bucks and buy one?

One of those just sold today on ebay for about $5,000. they were built by Andy Beach. The one on ebay came with a certificate that said it was one of 25 build between 1993 and 1995 for Paisley Park.

I always thought that those on that catalogue were "real" clouds, and Prince was cleaning house when he sold them at the NPG store. At that time, he was killing off Prince, so maybe he wanted to get rid of some clutter....

I almost coughed up the $5k this morning on ebay for it....
