Gett Off - the title I've been wondering for some time why the song "Gett Off" is spelled with double "t". My guess is that it was to be distinguished from "Get Off" from "New Power Generation" single. However, this is a guess and I would like to know what your ideas might be.

I always suspected it was a way for him to register for copyrights/publishing, etc. and distinguish it from "Get Off."

There is also a song titled Get Off by a group called Foxxy. Any other "old timers" remember this one? I actually think it is funkier than Prince's song (Oops! Was that my out-loud voice?!) I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, keep me here. | |
