I was going to rent it, but without the deleted scenes, why? een all the cheap crappy videos, seen the Mtv party and we all know how bad Dvd documentries are.

I don't know that all DVD documentaries are bad. I've seen quite a few good ones, and these ones are excellent. Plus it's a restored widescreen print. I think the real question is why not?

the documentary that came with the "hedwig and the angry inch" DVD was pretty amazing, actually...not to mention it was movie-length.

Back then, there were no such as a DVD, or at least they were nowhere nearly as popular as they are now. Therefore, there was no reason to keep any deleted scences, leaving on the cutting room floor instead. I mhave noticed that most of the films that have deleted scences were movies that were made from the 90s and further on. It would have been nice for Warner Bros. to keep the screens but apparently they did not. Of course, they could have them after all and they will put them in a 25th annivesary DVD five years from now.
