I don't know why people think it's a new thing. Even if he had just recently changed it from "I'm" to "He's" - the lyrics are originally in the third person. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes. | |

The song has always been about Jesus nonetheless. Changing from first to third person doesn't necessarily change the person it's about. | |
