I got the Free As a Bird outtakes disc from a fantastic friend on the Quake who I've never met but love more than some members of my family and all I've heard in my head, all I sing to my boyfriend, all I dance my faggot ass off to since is this:

Oh MAN, this disc rocks. Been waiting SO long. Thanks to everyone who makes this kinda stuff possible, and for allowing me to pass it on to other freaks - that's the best part.

Every big fan of Prince's should get to hear this version of Come - hell, all versions of Come. It's only gonna bring more joy into the world.

Between this and the Sacrifice of Victor boot --- my purple warrior is stiff and tumescent.

I prayed to God there was a studio version recorded just like this. I remember hearing this rendition on the Live At the Rex 2CD boot and losing my freaking mind. I was pretty pissed when Come was released and it was not this version. But yup, this version is the shit.
