then i heard "1999" ... and i was interested ... read some stuff on him ... was more interested ... and then ... later ... i heard "when doves cry " before the movie came out .... i was hooked ....

since 82 (i999 album), but when I was 11 I heard "controversy" on the radio and thought it was very cool (at the time did not know it was prince). Even earlier my older sister was very much into disco and played "I wanna be your lover" (at the time Iliked that one the best).

i didnt follow him closely but i alllways had a thing for him appearance wise

sadly its just now im REALLY getting into the musical prince...the interest was always there, but i unno something changed in me - methinks its when i saw him live lol
