my friend gretchen says that about it, too! it really is more or less nothin more than a long music video. no baby i belong to him. (pointing to the ceiling). or whatever that scene is! it's a long music video that I only watch alone so i can cringe all i want in privacy. But I have it on order right along with PR and UTCM.

Personally I have never seen it aside from one scene when it was aired on VH1. So I will be buying it to see it for the first time and simply because it is a Prince release.

I think this was my first Prince investment that I was actually angry about.
I want my money back. "Pedro offers you his protection."

I LOVE GB! I think its a dream-like movie! I think P's music scenes are the best though. I never liked Morris' music in this movie. Tick Tick Bang is the best! Did you order a pizza ma'am? Prince- UTCM

It seems to me that a lot of us seem to forget WHAT songs are actually on this album! Some of his finest: Question of U, Elephants & Flowers, Joy in Repetition, We Can Funk, Thieves in the Temple, Still Would Stand All Time, etc. And if you look at the movie as being some kinda long music video -- it ain't so bad, not with those songs anyway.

I've never seen the movie or heard the Cd, even though I own it, I can't bring myself to listen to it after I've heard so much negativity about it. I did attempt to listen to the CD once and got halfway through the first track and started feeling a little . I can't even remember what song it was. I think that whole Grafitti Bridge thing has some type of subliminal message in it that makes people sick. I just can't bring myself to be a victim of that.

Try getting high and then watching "Graffiti Bridge". Much like Pink Floyd's "The Wall" it all seems genius and profound. "New Power slide...."

UNDER THE CHERRY MOON was a funny movie! My fav 1.

For those who will actually buy it, can you post a pic of the metallic angel painting that's hangs in Glam Slam. I like that much of the movie. It's from that Japanese artist who paints a ton of Pics featuring women in sexually agressive poses, a la Vargas. Thanks for the help. Jeux Sans Frontiers

Hi - I'm also in Ireland. If you're impatient and a little techie, you might be able to make your DVD player multi-region for free here: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks and then buy the US versions. I got my €50 DVD player working in about 30 seconds. (Read the warnings though)

A friend offered to buy it for me and I turned him down. All I am interested in is the performance of Question of U from the Nude tour.

I don't feel any less of a fan for knowing that Prince produces turds too. The fact that it's Prince isn't enough to justify spending money on it. GB is just too painful to watch and I feel no requirement to waste money on something I don't want and will never use just to have a complete collection. One format of GB is enough, actually it's one too many. [b] He so awesome to watch on screen!!! come to think about you baby you are my only need

I just bought it. And i have to say, it wasnt as horrible as i remembered. Well, plotwise it is shit, but still it is somehow entertaining. At least the first half (funnier). Uh. Who am i trying to fool. Its just crap.
