I was listening to Crystal Ball disc 3 on the way to work this morning and Prince's voice on "18 and Over" struck me as sounding a little nasal as if he had a cold.

I think there is a track on 1999 "Something in the Water" perhaps where he also sounds like he has case of the sniffles.

Has anyone else noticed this on any other tracks? Can "a case of flu" stop our man in his tracks or does it just lend him a new vocal sound to exploit?

I know this is a bit of a silly question, but having seen some of subyduby's threads on the general discussion board I'm not so sure! wellbeyond and 2the9s are cracking me up with their responses

sometimes it sounds like he's squeezing off a turd when he makes those squeels.

Interesting thought. Do you think maybe he gets a couple of engineers in there with him while he unloads. Probably gets the royal wipers to do it for him!
