Will Prince Amaze you again on a CD?

I'd say yes. I remember before "Rainbow Children" wondering if he'd ever go way out there again -- and he went further.

So, I'd say yes..

If he does one with no jazz or hip hop and uses synths again--I would be amazed and shocked.

I strongly disagree with Prince when he touts the superiority of live "conventional" instruments over computers N such.
The instruments don't make a song bad or good--it's the composition, the execution, and the treatment.

I mean Industrial synth bands (KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, Der Krupss, and Project Pitchfork) have put out some really inovative and great music using unconventional medium.

I would be very surprised if PRince rethought his musical palet--sort of starting off on a completely clean slate. He's stayed very very very very much in the same relative sound range since his Emancipation.

Over the years I've learned that it's unwise to count Prince out.

I gave up on him for years, but eventually he proved to me that he's still capable of surprises.

I hope so. But not with another NEWS or Rainbow Children. Its time to bust out the Habibi and wow some folks.

Im gonna agree that there is always soemthing amazing around the corner. Every time three or four years goes by without anything "shockingly amazing" you start to wonder if "amazing" part of the ride is over and then something like TRC comes out.

Whether you like the theme or not, you cannot deny that TRC is amazing.
