The Album Survivor 2004 edition #8 CLOSED

It was a neck on neck race between The Chocolate Invasion and Rave and the loser was...
Rave!!!

The list shrinks and shrinks...what will the future bring us? Will Sott reign supreme or will the 20th anniversary of Purple mess that up? Maybe Parade or Rainbow Children??

Thank U all for voting and keep it up smile

Happy voting!!

Rules:

This page contains a list with album titles, U vote the album u like least off the list!! Only one album may be voted off per thread!
The thread will be active for 3 days until i start counting the votes! Then a new thread will appear with the new list !! After a few weeks we will have a new? undisputed best Prince album!!

Some Explanations: I didn't include e.p.s like The Beautiful Experience or C-Note...
I have listed The Truth as a seperate album, cuz it deserves to be recognised as such!
I Have not listed Gold Nigga & Exodus cuz thoise are NPG albums, however I did list New Power Soul cuz it's a P album in disguise
The reason I didn't include Madhouse, because they were not really P albums...They belong on a side project list.
The reason for not including the very best of is simple... we already have the Hits the B-sides on it... and 2 hits packages was just too much..

The Albums

Prince
Dirty Mind
Controversy
1999
Purple Rain
Around The World In A Day

ONA Piano.

I can't believe people have played it more than Grafitti Bridge, though it does have possibly the worst title track song.

hmmm.. getting tougher now. but I think Graffiti Bridge gets my vote this time. 2 great songs "? of U and Joy in reptition" and a lot of filler including the title track.
All the world's a funky stage.

ONA Piano...though I have to be fair and admit it's the one on the list I don't own. I have, however, heard all the tracks and while none are bad individually, it's kind of a snoozer overall. In my book, we're done with the truly bad albums, and now it's just ones you play least.

Yes - get it out of here - The Very Best Of Prince and Girl 6 weren't here to begin with, so why is this?

Snap

Too bad Graffiti Bridge wasn't a single album -- it deserves more respect than what y'all are doing to it. And if ya get rid of Prince too soon, I'll go with Dansa and vote SOTT -- not a threat; a promise!

Anyway, my vote goes to:
The Hits / B-sides

my vote is 4 hits/b-side just cuz .

also th O(-+-> album is refferd in print by rolling stone as "the love symbol album"

just cuz when it gets down to the top 15 people might get hesitent to vote for it cuz they are intimidated by it.jus jokin.

If I bump this topic to the top of list enough times, might it help save GB, the way it didn't C&D. I've said it before, lows are low, but highs are pretty stinking high!!
