Is there any way that we could add some incredible cheesy dialog or bad production value? Im really looking for something to believe in. (Insert something clever here)

Sorry...because of budget constraints, i can't tell you all the particulars about the movie. I can only assure you that you will leave feeling hopelessly disillusioned. However, you will receive a free copy of Musicology with your paid admission!! you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

You're talkin' Howard Stern's Private Parts. That's sort of the style of script I wrote WITH NO X INVOLVED (thank you very much AsianBomb). Luv & Peace, Alex Clubbin' in Mpls/A Night w. Prince

A documentary about Prince and the "Musicology" tour. Much like U2's "Rattle and Hum" or MAdonna's "Truth or Dare". What's the point? Both of those documentary's sucked. They didn't reveal enough and just sucked some money out of our wallets. Luv & Peace, Alex Clubbin' in Mpls/A Night w. Prince

OK OK,
The Plot takes place in the future. Due to global warming all of the continents are now under water, and mankind has been forced to live on floating villages, and man-made island (normally constructed of several boats tied together). Prince is the first of a breed of human who have developed the ability to breath underwater through small unoticable gills. I propose that this movie be a really big budget production, and most of the album tracks be instrumental. I'm finding it the title difficult to think up though.

i think writing a screenplay is a great idea!
One thing: Do not let Prince have an on-screen romance!!! THE MAN IS THE WORST ON-SCREEN KISSER!!!! NO kissing for Prince, okay?!

If U could choose the plot and music, what would it be? .. [This message was edited Wed Aug 18 18:23:51 2004 by AsianBomb777] I think it would have to be called "Me against the music industry" ... some Purple Rain Pt. 2 "Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies -
tongue-tied and twisted, just an earthbound misfit, I"

If it was up to me...
THE FORMAT: documentary-style THE PLOT: The media and the public call "Musicology" a "comeback," and Prince and his hardcore fans are saying "comeback from what?" I would do a film chronicling Prince from the Warner Brothers breakdown through today, going into details about the vault music that was released (and what still exists in the vault), the perceived quality (ups and downs) of his music from the last decade, his religious conversion, and so on. It couldn't be done without Prince's involvement, though...there would need to be info in it that is new to hardcore fams. THE DIRECTOR: I can only think of two directors that are right for this project, and NEITHER is Quentin Tarantino, who doesn't have the narrowness of focus to concentrate properly on Prince. (Those of you who think he's a good choice are forgetting that he likes to smash together various genres, styles and sounds, and his finished product would surely put the focus on HIM rather than PRINCE). My first choice would be David Lynch (mentioned already, though not convincingly) because Lynch's body of work is full of head-scratching moments and the kind of quirks that no other artist save Prince is capable of. They're kindred spirits, really. My other choice would be Michael Mann, who's a proven director when it comes to both telling the life stories of others ("The Insider," "Ali") and capturing the night ("Heat," "Collateral"). Both of those would work well for Prince. Keith/Kacey
