I thought his acoustic set was more intimate than his piano set and gave off a similar vibe. I would definitely take acoustic Prince over pianist Prince, even though I love them both.

[/quote] Agree, but when he was here in Chicago Aug 3rd he didn't talk much as oppose the ONA at the Chicago theater.

Oh! I love Piano Prince. I love Guitar Prince, too!

I would love, though, to see him do a piano set similar to the acoustic set. I love what he did to Little Red Corvette during the acoustic set (I loved how he said "eyes").

I love the piano at the way end of Purple Rain! I can't get beyond it. It brings tears to my eyes. I would love to see him do that part!

That sucks. He did quite a bit of talking here in Mpls. on June 18th (I think that's the date, I can't believe I'm already forgetting).

I don't care for the piano or the accoustic set. If Prince needs a break to change clothes, let the band do a jam on their own. If the band needs a break, bring in a protegee band (like maybe The Time) to play till the band gets back. Just don't strip it down.

I think Prince is one of the greatest pianists, but I would rather hear him play guitar.

He's done a piano "sit-down" on almost every tour since Purple Rain, so it is a great and refreshing change to finally see him play an acoustic set. When he did it at the Xenophobia Celebration, it brought the house down! I know he incorporated it into the Musicology tour based on our response.

If I want to hear piano, I can watch my DVDs of the Purple Rain tour, Parade, Lovesexy, etc.

well when i saw him in D.C. last friday, i saw him during rehearsal when i had got there an hour before the show started, and while he was jamming with the band, he hopped on the keyboard and started playing. I have to say it was a very enlightening experience. I love when he plays other instruments other than the guitar. It makes him look so sexy..
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
