"Book Of Love" the rarest outtake out there? I got this great outtake called "Book Of Love" in my bootleg collection that apparently very few people have heard of. It was included on an Andre Cymone album, but this unreleased Prince version is an absolute masterstroke. If anyone else has this track do you know when it was recorded? Because from what I can tell the rhythm programming sounds quite different from anything Prince did on his Revolution era (kinda Tr808ish) but the backing vocals sound like Wendy or/and Lisa(or other white ratjer monotonic female singers that is). This song is a total mystery me as there seems to be no documnts of its existence on books or any web pages. I wouldn't say its a fake, but if it turns out to be such then it's the damn best fake there has ever been. It IS Prince, however. And with PERFECT sound quality. Anyone?

The Cymone version of this track was included on the album'AC', on which The Dance Electric appeared. If it is genuine, then it is presumably a cover, because even the Official website does not claim that the track was written by Prince (http://www.npgmusicclub.c...ms/ac.html).ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. I think it was written by Prince. It was listed in one of those books (the AC version) - possibly "Slave 2 The Rhythm" which is based on ASCAP records. Like how many songs the guy has made without taking credit of them officially? Does anyone else have it though? [This message was edited Sat Mar 23 10:55:31 PST 2002 by Novabreaker]
