i'm new. but i am not new to prince. i'm 30 and i've been a fan since i was maybe 5 or 6 (my dad always had the latest lps and prince was one the artists that i had him play over and over) but any way i got a chance to see him for the first time aug 3 in chicago. from lovesexy up till now i lost track due to raising 3 boys and a demanding husband. i just started going back to college and started doing things that i like to do-like going to concerts. anyway i forgot how much i enjoyed him and when he came out i wanted to cry. i was really excited and i'm still excited from that concert. while i was looking for a website that could give me a fan mail address to write to him and thank him, i came across many fan clubs, i like this one. i've been reading the forums and it's helped me to catch up a little. all of you seem really down to earth and i like that. i thought it was going to full of crazy people with stalker mentalities. it wasn't my intention to start a topic i just like how much you accept him and supoort prince-all the good and the bad.

congratulations on gettin ur stuff together. and yes this is a cool place but we do got a coupla obssessed/psycho/stalker/worshippy types here...but most of us r pretty sane
