Kool Mo Dee sampled Prince?

Well, sorta.

I came across a video clip for Kool Mo Dee's God Made Me Funkee and heard that annoying kid at the beginning of "Do U Lie?" The French one.

don't ask why KMD sampled it...any French ppl know what it mean?

Anyways, there's excitement for ya! Go dig it out...

Kool Moe Dee was cool. One of the first rappers who actually have a college degree.

I loved, "How You Like Me Now?" and "I Go To Work", the videos were cool too.

J-Lo danced in one of his videos too back in tha day.

peace!

she says at the beginning of doUlie? "the children who lie don't go to paradise" (les enfants qui mentent ne vont pas au paradis).
kool moe dee often sampled prince. for example on that very famous album from 88 or 89, he used that "oh yeah" from the beginning of SignO'TheTimes...
