Essential Live CDs?

I have "Livesexy" "Small Club" "Emporium London" "Now's the Time;"and several other live odds and ends; I'm not a major collector of live CDs; more into outtakes.

What else are considered the "essential" Prince live CDs; in your opinion?

Anxiety

in my absolutely subjective-as-can-be opinion, the one live gig i listen to all the time and can't live without is the acoustic set from the celebration. i'm sure i'm alone on this, especially since so many folks on here were actually THERE for the show. but still...damn.

The Rotterdam Aftershow CD from the ONA tour (titled "2 nigs united for West Rotterdam" if I'm correct). Disc one is absolutely mindblowing.

Boots

Ur first Question:
They are boots

Ir Second Question:
This is what I think they are:

A boot can be someone bringing in a tape recorder and recording a live performance illegally.
Or it can be a ripped version of a studio recording.
Or it can be any number of things that hasn't been officially released.

I think an outtake is a recording that has the potential to be released but isn't completely polished yet--Normally a studio recording in early stages or mixed differently from what you officially get to hear--if you get to hear it at all. Think about the majority of "One Night Alone Piano"--although an official release, it sounded alot like a very polished outtake to me.

Right. But outtakes are sometimes just songs that don't make the cut for the album being recorded, and the reasons for that are sometimes varied. In general people record more songs than will end up on the album in the first place.
This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

FunkATron

There used to be a site called Databank, no? I posted about this yesterday, but the thread seems to have disappeared. I was just wondering if anyone here knows the address. That's got lots of information on this sort of thing if I remember rightly - gives ratings and such.
